High-end heels were frequently priced at exorbitant rates, sometimes reaching as much as 9000 DKK, yet they still failed to meet the expectations of durability or comfort. For Khatera, this wasn’t just a minor inconvenience—it was a driving force to create something better.
The Frustration That Sparked a Vision
Khatera had spent years working with brides and clients, witnessing the same issue over and over again—elegant shoes that looked stunning but were impossible to wear for more than a few hours. The towering heights of 12-14 cm heels, which were the industry standard for luxury, were impractical for everyday wear and often left women in pain by the end of the day.
